LEAD Board Program
The EO LEAD Board Program equips EO chapter board members with the governance, strategy and team leadership skills needed to lead one of EO's most vital assets — the chapter itself. Serving on an EO board is a privilege and a responsibility; LEAD Board prepares you for both.
Lead Your Chapter with Confidence
The LEAD Board Program is part of EO APAC's Path of Leadership — a structured journey for members who take on governance roles within their local EO chapter. Board service is where EO members grow as leaders beyond their own businesses.
Whether you are stepping into a Director role, chairing a committee, or serving as a portfolio holder, LEAD Board provides the frameworks, peer learning and practical skills to make your board year transformative — for you and your chapter.
Unlike generic leadership training, LEAD Board is built specifically for the EO context: member-led, experience-based and deeply aligned with EO's values of trust, confidentiality and mutual accountability.

A Board Member's Perspective
Carlo G. Santoro served as President of EO Melbourne in 2000/01 — one of the most formative leadership experiences of his career. He has since served on the EO APAC board, and has witnessed firsthand how chapter board service accelerates entrepreneurial leadership in ways no business programme can replicate.
Carlo is a strong advocate for EO members taking on board roles and completing the LEAD Board Program. The combination of structured learning and real-world governance experience is, in his view, one of EO's most underutilised growth pathways.
"Serving on the EO board taught me things about leadership that no MBA could. You are leading peers, not employees — and that changes everything."
— Carlo G. Santoro, EO Melbourne President 2000/01
